Annika Hylmö, Ph.D.

Annika Hylmö, Ph.D., career coach and consultant, supports people seeking to find or change careers. Annika helps clients to clarify their career direction and interests as she guides them in identifying and taking the steps needed to realize their professional and personal visions. Annika has worked extensively with undergraduate students as a teacher and counselor for 13 years, transitioning to use her empathic coaching skills to successfully coach new college graduates and adult career changers for the past two years. She has worked with individuals in a range of technical, creative, and professional fields. Annika brings her extensive experience with interviews and resume construction as well as other forms of professional communication and presentation skills to her clients along with her in-depth understanding of organizational cultures to help clients find an overall “fit” with not only a career but an employer as well.

Annika was born in Sweden and also grew up in the Bahamas, England, and in Los Angeles in the United States. She received her B.A. from Lund University, Sweden, in Media and Communication, her M.A. in International Communication from The American University in Washington, DC, and her Ph.D. in Organizational Communication from Purdue University, Indiana. She has taught undergraduate courses at universities such as Purdue University, George Mason University, Loyola Marymount University and the University of Waikato in New Zealand. Annika has published her award winning career related research in academic journals. Her life, research, and consulting provide Annika with insights into a range of organizations and business sectors, locally and globally, that she shares with her clients.

Annika is also a partner with the Interchange Group, a workplace consultancy focusing on generational demographics in organizations. Her presentations about the generations to various professional groups consistently provide her audiences with new insights about the needs of employees of different age cohorts. She is a member of the Professional Coaches and Mentors Association where she continues to stay in touch with the latest trends in executive coaching. In addition to coaching and consulting, Annika has a rich life that is grounded by her two Border Terriers, Bonnie and Slick, a love for singing, the creative and popular arts, and her family and friends.

Christine Nagle

Christine Nagle, career coach and executive recruiter consultant, is known for her perceptive acumen in seeing the natural talents in people and bringing it to the surface. As a long time Corporate Hiring Manager she has been often recognized for her astute judgment in accessing candidate strengths and instinctively knowing where s/he would best fit within the organization. Her expertise in identifying talent and personal development based on strengths has led her to be a stellar career coach.

Christine’s specialty is working with business professionals, entrepreneurs, non-profit leaders, and mothers returning to the work force. Her clients vary from people needing assistance with: “I think I’ve got it together, but I can’t find a job,” or “I still don’t know what I want to be when I grow up,” to “My job is okay, but I am ready to do something different,” to “I know where it is I want to go but I need help figuring out a game plan to get there.” Christine offers specific & direct feedback in an open and kind manner. She is strategy driven and works together with clients to develop a targeted plan of action.

Christine believes everyone can absolutely find a career they love and build a successful life around it. She has a passionate commitment to personal growth and for fun enjoys attending personal development teachings by industry leaders and has read most every Strength/Personality/Growth tool book out there! Formerly from Chicago, Christine loves the sunshine weather in Los Angeles and can often be found on the weekends hiking in the mountains with her dog Maggie.

Lorraine Prieto Berchtold, MBA, CPC

Lorraine Prieto Berchtold is a transformation and success coach who supports people in getting what they really want out of life. Offering support and encouragement through the discovery, planning, and completion phases of the transformation process, Lorraine coaches her clients to take purposeful action to optimize all aspects of their lives: career, personal life, and health – as a means to achieving a true sense of purpose, fulfillment, and success.

Lorraine comes to the coaching field with a strong business background and firsthand experience with what it means to transform one’s life. She has a BBA in Finance from the University of Notre Dame and an MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg Graduate School of Management. Early in her career, Lorraine worked as a financial consultant and business planner for Peterson & Company Consulting and Pepsi-Cola, before she decided to switch careers and become a marketing executive. After attending business school, Lorraine successfully held various marketing roles at Taco Bell and at the Walt Disney Company before returning to Pepsi Cola.

While at Pepsi, Lorraine was married and, after thoughtful deliberation, ultimately decided to leave her career in order to become a stay-at-home mom. This path proved to be both deeply fulfilling and challenging for someone who had always viewed herself as a “career woman.” While she loved being a mom, she found that she missed her career, and the result was self-doubt and confusion. As an outlet, Lorraine found some fulfillment by volunteering her time, and eventually became a marketing consultant and trustee to the private elementary school her children attended. It was during this time that Lorraine started to ask herself some tough but important questions: “How do I achieve a deeper sense of purpose and happiness in my life? What am I truly passionate about? What do I want to do with the rest of my life?” These questions and the answers she discovered along the way led her through a transformative process that resulted in her enrollment and subsequent graduation as a credentialed coach from the International Coach Academy.

Lorraine’s background and life experience really resonate with her clients who typically find themselves facing or wanting to make a major life change, be it career or otherwise. Her warm, engaging manner and her ability to strategically see the big picture and to intuitively help her clients navigate the transformative process are key to her coaching success.
