At Daisy Swan & Associates, most of our coaching relationships are in the form of one-on-one career coaching services and strategy. Our typical one-on-one coaching clients come to us a little overwhelmed – either by life in general, career options or lack thereof, or the job search process – looking for unbiased, third-party, professional help in gaining clarity and focus to get them to the next level, or to set them on a new or clearer path.
Our first step in one-on-one coaching is setting that new goal or clearing the new path for our clients, often helping them to see opportunities or options that they may not have even thought of or uncovered on their own. Once we have that first task accomplished, our career coaches move on to the practical part of implementing a plan. This plan may be the job search process and all that might entail, or it may be that a client decides to pursue more schooling – in which case, we can help with the application process and selection of schools or programs of study, as well. Our career coaching services will help with whatever is necessary to achieve the desired coaching results, and we will stay in a coaching relationship with our clients for as long as they desire or need us to do so.
Coaching begins with our clients’ completion of an assessment that analyzes their strengths, that shows us (and them) their natural gifts and talents, and where they shine. We go through the results of this assessment and start to create a new plan with our clients in an initial two-hour meeting, either in person or over the phone. The coaching process then typically moves forward with phone meetings; we offer multiple options for coaching call packages, to suit your individual needs and budget. There is some “homework” that clients will need to complete within the coaching process, and we hold them accountable to do what we have mutually agreed to in order to reach the desired and new results set forth at the start of the process.
